About us

Our locations

All our facilities, including laboratories, vessels, equipment and offices, are based in the UK.

The majority of our staff are based in three Ocean Ecology locations: Gloucester, Plymouth and Oban. Many spend much of their time working away on survey while others work mainly from home.

The head office, including our main admin centre, is based at Epney, near Gloucester, where we have laboratory facilities too.

Further labs are based in Plymouth where our specialist data analysis unit, including Data Solutions, is based.

And our laboratory facilities in Oban also include our dedicated eDNA analysis lab.
